Asus is one of the OEMs really making a splash recently with their bang for buck devices. The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 and M2 have been very much like the Moto G and Moto G2 were in their day. On the more expensive side though, Asus hasn’t done quite as well. They’re back with the Asus Zenfone 6 though and we’re back with the Asus Zenfone 6 wallpapers. The resolution of the stock wallpapers is 1080 x 2340 px. Download them from below!

Asus Zenfone 6
Asus Zenfone 6 is the successor to last year’s Asus Zenfone 5Z which was pretty popular. In terms of design, Zenfone 6 is slightly different in some ways and very different in other ways. It still has a glass body, but the Asus logo and other text are vertically aligned along the center, right under the fingerprint scanner. The most interesting aspect of this phone is right above the scanner, the dual cameras.
It flips around upwards and becomes a front-facing camera on demand. Speaking of the front, there’s nothing but screen. Asus calls it a NanoEdge display and without any notch interfering with it, the phone looks like a giant screen. We’ve of course seen many all-screen phones but Asus’ way of avoiding a notch is very unique.
Not only does Asus avoid a notch, but the selfie camera is also as good as the rear camera. This has also been done previously by Oppo, and Samsung, with a different kind of flip camera module. Users can even move the camera vertically up or down manually at any desired position within the camera app by simply dragging the shutter button up or down.
The bottom of the device has the speaker grill, USB Type C charging port, and the headphone jack. On the right, we have the usual Power and Volume buttons along with a dedicated Google Assistant key. The device comes in two colors: Midnight Black and Twilight Silver.
Specs
The Zenfone 6 is Asus’ flagship, even though it’s closer to a budget phone. Naturally, it has the top of the line flagship processor from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 855 with the Adreno 640 GPU. There are three variants with 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage and another variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
The 5000mAh battery is the largest amongst phones in this price range. It’s also the largest battery that has been put into normal smartphones. Fortunately, it does support Qualcomm Fast Charge 4.0 which means it fast charges at 18W. The table below lists the detailed specifications.

Software
Asus phones have previously been great at hardware too. But the software, specifically, the ZenUI was a bit of a letdown. The company has learned a lot since then and their best-selling smartphones all ship with near-stock Android now. The Asus Zenfone 6 doesn’t stray too far from this newfound philosophy. The device runs on Android 9.0 Pie with mostly stock Android or Google Apps and no skins, not even a Pixel-like skin. It’s more stock Android than a Pixel.
