ZTE is a Chinese smartphone manufacturer which, like Huawei, has once faced a US ban. Although ZTE was only banned from selling in the US and the ban was revoked almost as soon as it hit them. They sell mostly in the United States and they’re trying to do what Xiaomi has done in India. ZTE Axon is one of the company’s most popular lineups. The ZTE Axon 10 Pro is their best phone to date and you can download ZTE Axon 10 Pro and ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G wallpapers here.

ZTE Axon 10 Pro
The Axon line features ZTE’s flagship phones each year and they do get some pretty decent and great reviews. The ZTE Axon Pro builds on the greatness of the ZTE Axon 9 Pro from last year.
Design
From a design perspective, the ZTE Axon 10 Pro is a nice evolution over the previous ZTE Axon 9 Pro. The ZTE Blade 9 Pro had a pretty big notch like the iPhone. ZTE Axon 10 Pro has a tiny water-drop style notch which gives you even more screen real estate. The display glass curves around the sides like a Samsung Galaxy device.
The glass back comes in blue and is hard to not notice but that’s the only color option. It has a USB Type C charging port as well as a headphone jack. The SIM tray takes two nano-SIMs and a microSD card. There’s no fingerprint scanner at the back because that’s built into the display. The power button and the Volume rockers are all on the right.
The Triple camera set up is aligned vertically along the left and the ZTE and AXON brandings are as well, right under the camera set up. This is an increasingly popular design choice amongst Android smartphone manufacturers that aren’t Samsung.
Axon 10 Pro Specifications
It features a 6.47-inch display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2340 pixels with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. There are ~398 pixels per inch of the display and it all amounts up to a screen-to-body ratio of 87.9% which is nothing impressive but it’s not a flagship device either. It’s an AMOLED capacitive touchscreen capable of producing 16 million colors.
It’s a flagship device so it packs in a flagship processor, i.e., the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. The SoC ships with the Adreno 640 GPU built into it. It’s helped with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. Should you need more, there’s a MicroSD slot which supports external storage up to 1 TB.
The battery is a large 4000mAh Li-Ion cell. It supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 which is basically fast charging at 18W.
Camera
On the front is a 20 MP camera sensor with an f/2.0 aperture, housed in the water-drop notch. It supports HDR and video up to 1080p @30 fps. The triple rear camera setup consists of a 48 MP primary sensor with an f/1.7 aperture and a pixel size of 0.8 µm.
The second is an 8 MP, f/2.4, a telephoto lens capable of up to 3x optical zoom. There’s a third 20 MP, f/2.2, ultra-wide lens as well. A dual-tone dual-LED flash is there to assist the cameras under low light environments. The rear cameras are capable of recording video up to 1080p at 30 fps. They also support PDAF, OIS, panorama, and HDR shots.
Software
ZTE’s Axon lineup has been known for excellent hardware and a near-stock Android implementation. The ZTE Axon 10 Pro is not very different in this regard. It runs Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. There are still a couple of ZTE apps though, which were necessary, like the camera app.
